The concept of the Classroom Performance was created by Dr. Darrell Ward, a professor. Dr. Ward, as a teacher, was deterimined to conquer the problem of getting students to participate in class and improving retention of what they learned. The CPS or Classroom Performance System was the result.
Since that time, over 10 years ago, the classroom response pads have been tested and used by thousands of teachers and millions of students.
