People learn better if learning is spread over time through introduction and repetition as many administrators have personally observed. Research has confirmed this is true.

In 2008 we began to experiment with optimum learning situations and found the following:The best results come from a series of learning opportunitities designed to carry teachers from beginner to expert level over a period of time.  While hands-on learning is important for some phases, we developed the Webinar style of teaching to enable teachers to learn in smaller chunks during planning periods.

TRAINING PROGRAMS AVAILABLE:

1. Intro To Technology - a demo and hands-on learning for 2- 21/2 hours
2. Webinar 1 - all day sessions done during planning periods to help teachers address questions and issues so they can continue their progress
3. Intermediate Level 1 - hands-on learning technology use to deliver curriculum, including creation of lessons and practice strategies of engagement
4. Webinar 2 - all day sessions during planning periods helping teachers overcome any obstacles to their progress and learning next steps to using the technology
5. Intermediate to Advanced Level 2 - hands-on learning to help teachers get the full benefit from their technology. Includes lessons and assessment development to deliver with the technology.
6. Train The Trainer - 1 or 2 day sessions training 5-6 teachers who will become master users and trainers for others. This enables schools to 'sustain' their growth and includes development of training modules they can use to deliver training
7. Best Practices -  observation within the classroom to determine teachers style of teaching, make recommendations on how the technology can be incorporated and address individual needs with written report to administrators
8. Review - used for back to school and can be done either in person, hands-on or through webinar to review the technology and reorient teachers to the technology nad how to best use it in the classroom.

CUSTOMIZED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS:

We offer customized training packages developed to meet your particular needs including other technologies that may currently exist in your classrooms.

Start up!  Taking teachers from scratch to using technology in order to deliver lessons, reviews and tests with more time spent engaging and with the right technology tools, less time spent grading. Includes hands-on use of technology in session.

Intermediate Technology Usage  - What's next? After a teacher begins using the technology we answer specific questions and teach more advanced techniques to engage students in learning.  Seminar is hands-on and normally 1/2 to 1 full day.

Advanced MasterTraining - Carries the educational professional toward mastery.

Train The Trainer - Schools get new teachers on a regular basis. This session includes a customized presentation that trainers can use to continue the training in-house. Normally 1-2 days. Includes developing presentation, practice and customization based on technology.

Best Practices Day  -  We visit the classrooms and work with the teachers, then provide  an administrative report  with recommendations that can help the teachers improve their usage of technology to deliver curriculum.
